Interview Your Grandparent — 1-Hour Recording Capture their story while you still can. This one-hour session includes a 10-minute tech check to get everyone comfortable and set up. Who leads the interview? You can—or The Nerd can. Bring your own questions, or choose from our curated list. Light coaching included. If you’re the interviewer We’ll send prep materials and offer a quick coaching call to help you get a great result. Tech notes (it’s online video) Expect minor hiccups. We’ll share a simple setup guide. Join by computer or phone (horizontal preferred). No special mic needed—the story matters most. Boundaries & sensitive topics We’re not here to stir family drama. If there are off-limit areas, tell us—we’ll skip them. Your family decides how the final recording is used. We have prompts to consider “What do you remember about the JFK assassination and the years after?” “Where were you on 9/11?” “Did you serve in the military?
